When he was captivated by enemies and brought to Ireland as slave, he run away. On the runaway, he joined the church in Auxerre and studied to be a priest. Saint Patrick worked hard to be a priest until he was called back to Ireland as a Bishop. There, he gave services to Irish people for a long period of time. Saint Patrick taught Christianity through shamrock to explain about trinity.

After conducted services for thirty years, he died and buried at Downpatrick. Saint Patrick was successful in converting Irish to become Christian. He won the heart of the Irish people with his teachings and also way of life. His teaching is still used and practiced until today. Until today, the St Patricks Day is still practiced and people also use the three-leaved plant called shamrock. People also use green ribbon if they couldn’t find shamrock. The St Patricks Day is great and it is truly religious celebration. If you are Christian, you have to follow the St Patricks Day services at the church by wearing the green Shamrock on your dress.
